Allianz Global Partnership with the International Paralympic Committee

Allianz believes in the right of every athlete to participate in competitive sports and aims to raise awareness about the athletes and the year-round events they compete in by developing creative ways to get their stories heard, introduce disability sports to a global audience and reinforce our message of empowerment and equality across all our communications platforms.

Allianz Group has been a partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) since 2006, and became its first International Partner in 2011. Furthermore, Allianz is the first global sponsor of a Para sport Federation whose partnership is not only financial: we work at every level of the Paralympic Movement, from global to local, to help increase awareness and popularity of sports for people with impairment worldwide.

Allianz Egypt Partnership with the Egyptian Paralympic Committee

Being an active partner of the Paralympic Movement, Allianz has partnered with the Egyptian Paralympic Committee to actively promote inclusion, diversity and excellence in the world of sports.

Allianz is the Official Insurance Partner of the Egyptian Paralympic Committee till the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo in 2020. Being a partner, Allianz is supporting the Paralympians financially and morally, both in sports trainings and in local and international tournaments. This is part of an international partnership agreement between Allianz Group and the International Paralympic Committee.

Achieved Medals:

Gold, silver and bronze medals in different International championships, most importantly:

  • Gold medals in many international Championships such as Fazaa Championship and African and Middle East Championship.
  • Bronze medal for javelin in the World Championship in Berlin-Germany in 1994.
  • Bronze medal for javelin in the World Championship in England in 1999.
  • Bronze medal for discus in the World Championship in France in 2002.
  • Silver medal for javelin in the World Championship in Holland in 2006.
  • Fifth place in discus in the World Championship in Qatar in 2015.
  • Silver medal for discus in the Paralympic Games in Sydney-Australia in 2000.
  • Silver medal for javelin in the Paralympic Games in Athens-Greece in 2004.
  • 6th place in javelin in the Olympic Games in London in 2012.
  • 5th place in discus in the Paralympic Games in Rio De Janeiro-Brazil in 2016.

Paralympic athlete in the Egyptian team for swimming in the Egyptian Paralympic Committee.

Achieved Medals:

  • Gold medal in the 50 meters butterfly in the Spain International Championship in 2015.
  • 7th place in the 50 meters butterfly in the World Championship in England in 2016.
  • Bronze medal in the World Championship in Mexico in 2017.
  • He qualified for the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 through the 2016 World Championship in England.
  • Gold medal in the Swimming National Championship in 2018.

The youngest champion in the Egyptian team for weight-lifting in the Egyptian Paralympic Committee.

  • Gold Medal in the balance of 61 kg - World Powerlifting Championship - Mexico 2017
  • Gold Medal for Youngsters in the balance of 61 kg emerging - Fazza International Powerlifting Championship - Dubai 2017
  • Bronze Medal in the balance of 67 kg overall - Fazza International Powerlifting Championship - Dubai 2017
  • Egypt’s Powerlifting champion in the balance of 61 kg - Seven consecutive years 2012 – 2018
  • Gold Medal - Junior - in the balance of 61 kg - Africa Powerlifting Championship - Algeria 2018
