In 2007, Allianz became a Global Partner of Formula 1™ giving us the unique opportunity to raise awareness about road safety at the most visible level. Being the only insurer in the world to have its own road safety research institute, our ambition is to make safety as prominent an issue on public roads as it is on the racetrack. Through the branding of safety items at the track, team partnership with MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula 1™ Team, specially tailored campaigns with Formula 1™ drivers, and our partnership with the FIA Foundation, Allianz communicates the safety message to a vast audience around the globe.
Football is the most popular sport in the world, making it the ideal activity through which Allianz can communicate with new and growing target groups. As a partner of two of the top football clubs, FC Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona, Allianz is in a unique position to support the huge segments of society for whom football is an essential part of life. Allianz is proud to be the host of the Allianz Junior Football Camp which welcomes teenagers from 25 countries to come to Munich for a week of training with FC Bayern youth coaches. Since the beginning of 2013, Allianz has partnered with the world-renowned pianist Lang Lang with the goal of harnessing the power of classical music to enrich lives, strengthen communities, and reinforce family bonds worldwide. Our partnership is in fact two in one: a separate and intertwined relationship with Lang Lang himself and with his non-profit organization, the Lang Lang International Music Foundation. Reinforcing our commitment to youth and education, the most important activity co-sponsored by Allianz and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation is the Junior Music Camp, a weeklong intensive music program offered to twelve young pianists each year.

|The Allianz Arena is home to Munich’s two football clubs: FC Bayern München and TSV 1860 München. Allianz is the naming rights and financial partner of the Arena, which was completed in 2005 and is now the most visited tourist destination in Bavaria, with 3.5 million visitors each year. Our partnership with the Allianz Arena reflects our roots in the city of Munich and our resolve to making a positive impact on our home region. Widely known for its exterior of inflated ETFE plastic panels, it is the first stadium in the world with a full color-changing color exterior.|
|Allianz Stadium debuted in Sydney, Australia, in 2012. It is the home of local rugby teams Sydney Roosters and New South Wales Waratahs, the FC Sydney football team, and on occasion other teams from throughout Australia. The stadium, which can seat up to 45,500, is a popular concert venue that has hosted sold-out performances by artists like Coldplay and Taylor Swift. Allianz is proud to sponsor the ongoing development of this iconic stadium – our first in the Oceania region – into a truly contemporary, state-of-the-art venue for the people of Sydney.|
|Allianz Park, located outside London, opened in 2013. It has a capacity of 10,000 and hosts a variety of elite and community sporting events. Three teams – FC Saracens rugby team and athletics clubs Barnet & District AC and the Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers – call Allianz Park home. While the stadium has been designed to blend into its beautiful natural surroundings, it also boasts ultramodern technology, including an artificial pitch that withstands virtually any extreme of weather or temperature, increasing both speed and safety in rugby matches.|
|Allianz Riviera Nice opened in Nice in September 2013 and can accommodate up to 35,500. Allianz Riviera’s teams-in-residence are the OGC Nice football club and the Toulon rugby club. The stadium can also serve as a setting for lawn tennis, motor sports, concerts, and other large-scale events. The Allianz Riviera conforms to the most rigorous standards of environmental and social responsibility, including the use of solar energy and eco-materials, commitment to recycling, and providing job opportunities and training in sustainable development to local workers.|
|Allianz Parque opens in November 2014. One of the most cutting-edge multi-functional stadiums in the world, Allianz Parque offers football games, concerts, dining, and shopping experiences to up to 55,000 people at a time. Located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, Allianz Parque is our first stadium in Latin America. Allianz Parque is a fitting new home for iconic football club Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, and provides the ultimate in sporting and leisure experiences while upholding Allianz’s commitment to environmental responsibility and community development.|
|The next stadium in our family will open in Vienna, Austria, in 2016. The stadium, which will be called Allianz Stadion, will be home to football club SK Rapid, and will be able to accommodate up to 24,000 spectators at a time. Plans for the new stadium showcase the same commitment to aesthetic style and environmental sustainability as all Allianz stadiums.
