Job Responsibilities:

• Execute accounting processes across technical and non-technical accounts, by conducting accounting activities ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS and local standards.
• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks by preparing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Perform reconciliations of premiums, commissions, claims, and reinsurance accounts by reviewing technical insurance accounts and maintaining documentation to ensure accurate and complete financial records.
• Review and validate insurance-related balance sheet accounts by investigating variances and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and monthly results by compiling financial data and ensuring alignment with actuarial disclosures and accounting records to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting
• Provide auditors and regulators with accurate schedules, reconciliations, and documentation by preparing audit support files and responding to requests to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Identify inefficiencies in accounting operations and suggest improvements and automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency and reporting cycles.
• Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Follow and implement the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work within required SLA.
• Comply with all relevant regulations and internal Allianz policies and code of conduct to maintain Allianz’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risk.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 years of experience in the Accounting field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
